There’s a reason this blog isn’t just called “Sage”. The raven showed up for a reason.
For centuries, ravens have been feared, misunderstood, and sometimes even labeled as omens of death. But those of us who see beyond the veil know ravens are protectors, messengers. They represent transformation – the death of what no longer serves us and the rebirth of something deeper, truer, and wilder.
I didn’t choose the raven lightly. It chose me just as much as I chose it.
In a world that never stops talking, with its opinions, algorithms, and endless noise, it’s easy to forget that we already have the answers. Not out there. Not on a screen. But deep within.
Somewhere beneath the doubt, the distraction, the performance – there’s a quiet voice. One that has all of the answers.
And if you listen closely, you’ll hear it whisper everything you need to know.
🖤 The Raven’s Wisdom:
The raven has long been a symbol of mystery, magic, and transformation. In myth and folklore, ravens are messengers between worlds, bringing insight from the unseen.
They aren’t afraid of the dark. In fact, they thrive in it.
To follow the path of the raven is to embrace your intuition, your shadow, your knowing, even when it doesn’t make sense to anyone else.
Because sometimes, what you feel is more important than what you can explain.
The Voice That Knows
It’s not always easy to listen to your intuition.
Sometimes, it asks you to leave things behind. Comfort, approval, even people you love – in order to grow.
I remember being twenty-four and living with my mom, four-year-old son, and my husband under one roof. We were grateful, but we wanted more. We wanted our own life, our own peace, and a better place to raise our son.
So, we trusted our gut and moved across the country. It wasn’t easy. Some friendships faded. My mom was heartbroken. But somewhere deep down, I knew it was right.
And it was.
Twelve years later, we’re still here – happy, grounded, dreaming bigger than ever. We’re planning to buy land and build a homestead. Something we never would have imagined if we’d stayed where we were.
Following that quiet inner voice changed the entire course of our lives, and it continues to guide me even now.
🌿 Reconnecting to Your Inner Voice:
You don’t need to wait for a big life decision to tune into your intuition. The more you practice listening, the clearer it becomes. Here are a few ways to reconnect:
- Quiet Time Daily: Even just five minutes of silence can help you hear what’s underneath the noise.
- Journaling: Ask yourself, “ How do I truly feel in this moment?” and write without censoring.
- Nature Walks: Ravens remind us to observe. Go outside, breathe, and watch.
- Pull a Card: Whether it’s tarot, oracle, or a simple word from a jar – sometimes symbols speak louder than logic.
- Body Wisdom: Notice what expands you and what makes you shrink. Your body often knows before your brain does.
Raven energy isn’t loud. It’s not flashy.
It’s steady. Deep. Wise.
And it lives in you.
The world may not always understand your path. That’s okay. You’re not here to live anyone else’s version of truth.
You’re here to follow what you know – even if it’s scary, even if it’s uncertain, even if it ruffles feathers.
So next time that little voice inside says “this way”…
Follow it.
It already knows where you’re going.
